For many new mothers, the journey of breastfeeding is a beautiful yet demanding experience. The need to balance caring for a newborn while also attending to personal and professional responsibilities can be overwhelming.

My breastfeeding journey has never been easy with both of my kids. With my first, I struggled with knowing my flange size and had to use a bulky double electric that had horrible suction.

With my second, I tried exclusive pumping which didn’t last long because my toddler kept getting and pulling on the cords and tubes so I could never pump properly to get a good milk supply.

This is where the Momcozy hands-free and portable breast pumps emerge as a game-changer, offering ease of use, tons of different flange sizes, help with finding the right flange size, moving around, no tubes, and so much more! It’s a total win for busy moms.

That is why I so excited to find two portable breast pumps from Momcozy for my third little one! I love having the option of moving around and wearing a wearable pump that doesn’t get in the way of life with two toddlers and breastfeeding my baby.

Momcozy M5 Review (Hands-Free Wearable Option)

I always wanted a hands free breast pump but never had $500 to get one and insurance didn’t cover those either.

So I was so thankful when I found Momcozy breast pump that was hands-free and so much cheaper than the other hands free options.

It is so easy to understand how to use. There are guides that come with the product to make sure you know exactly how to set it up properly.

There are even cute little hearts to make sure you have the flange set up correctly! Such a huge thing for me because I never want to lose out on my milk.

I found this breast pump so useful and one my 2 under 2 must haves list I couldn’t live without.

Here are some major pros and cons for my Momcozy hands free pump (use code anxiety25 to get 15% off!) reviews:

Pros

  • The Momcozy M5 comes with four flange sizes. That’s right: FOUR! That is huge as most come with 2 different sizes.
  • Completely hands-free! It fits nicely in a nursing bra and will pump while you do the dishes, take care of your toddlers, or do anything. No being tied down to a pump with tubes and cords.
  • 3 different types of modes: stimulate, express, and mixed. I love being able to switch between the options to find the right mode for my pumping session.
  • This pump also has 9 different levels so you can have a great suction that fits your breasts. I love the harder suctions but sometimes I need the lighter one too. It’s so nice that it offers a good variety to find exactly what I need.
  • It came with a nipple sizing guide. That is a huge thing because my other pumps from years ago never did and I could never figure out the right flange size.
  • Super easy to transport and one of the top baby travel essentials I love!

  • Silicone flanges: My other pumps had plastic flanges that were hard and very painful, even with the right size. It was so nice to have silicone. Not only are they safer for the body, but so much more comfortable too!
  • It offers a “baby sucking” method so it comes horizontally, just like a baby would, instead of up and down like traditional ones. That’s pretty cool, especially for when you are not exclusively pumping. It will definitely give more letdown with this method.
  • It will also vibrate to further help you get all the milk out and not have any clogged ducts.
  • This breast pump only weighs 8 oz. which is super light for a pump!
  • No wires, no tubes: My favorite pro of the Momcozy M5!
  • It comes with a hard shell storage bag, which is super convenient when you need a portable option for work or traveling.

Cons

  • Battery life: This is one of the cons as it only lasts between 100 to 120 minutes. Charge time is about 2 hours as well. I just keep mine plugged in between my sessions so I know it will always be fully charged!
  • The washable parts are recommended to change every 3 or so months. That can get pretty costly. However this is usually the case with most pumps to change the parts every couple of months.

Momcozy V2 Review (Portable Option)

I love having a portable option as well as the wearable pump. Other portable breast pumps still have the tubes and traditional flanges, but the Momcozy V2 basically is like a wearable option like above, with slight changes!

It does have the tubes, but can still be hidden under and out of reach with toddlers. The motor is not attached to the pump but has a clip or a lanyard to wear it around. There is no cord to tie you down, which I LOVE!

Here are some other pros and cons of the Momcozy V2 breast pump:

Pros

  • This pump has a really strong suction power (-288(±5) mmHg) with 27 different modes to enjoy! It has 9 different suction levels and 3 massage types.
  • It is a lot quieter than other breast pumps.
  • This Momcozy pump is still hands free and portable, which is so helpful for busy moms of those with two or more kids.
  • It comes with double sealed, skin-friendly flanges that are made out of silicone and so much more comfortable than other pumps I’ve used with plastic flanges.
  • This pump comes with FIVE different flange sizes! That is incredible and helps you not to buy more flanges after buying the product.
  • Each pump is about 4 oz. and is very lightweight.
  • It will hold 6 oz in each pump, which is pretty good!
  • Auto shut off after 30 minutes.
  • Battey life is about 180 minutes which is more than the Momcozy M5 pump.
  • It has amazing measurements you can easily read both when it is standing up or sitting down!

Cons

  • The battery life can be a con as some have longer life than 180 minutes. It does take 2 hours to charge as well.
  • There are a lot of pieces to take out and wash after every use, which can be tiring. I usually like to have 2 or three sets of each item so I can wash them once a day instead of multiple times a day.
  • This breast pump does have the tubes and has more parts that can be left out and easy for little ones to grab. You can try to hide them under your shirt though and it is much more compact than traditional electric breast pumps.
  • It is hard to see exactly where your nipple is on the inside, so it does take some repositioning every now and again.
