Fun Homemade Watermelon Pizza Recipe
If you’ve ever cut into a really good watermelon in the summer, you already know, it kind of fixes everything.
Cold, juicy, a little messy. It’s one of those things everyone will actually eat without complaining!
This watermelon pizza recipe is basically that, just dressed up a little. You add a creamy yogurt layer, throw some fruit on top, slice it like pizza, and somehow it turns into a whole thing.
Kids think it’s dessert. Adults end up eating it too. And it takes maybe 10 minutes, no planning required, my type of easy healthy snack 🙂
I’ve made this for random afternoons, but also for birthdays when I didn’t feel like dealing with cake. It works for both and my kids absolutely LOVE it!

It is one of those snacks that looks impressive but takes almost no effort!

Watermelon Pizza Recipe
Servings: 8
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
Base
- 1 large round slice of seedless watermelon, about 1 inch thick
Honey-Yogurt Sauce
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Fruit Toppings
- 2 tablespoons raspberries
- 2 tablespoons blackberries
- 2 tablespoons yellow kiwi, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons blueberries
Garnish
- Fresh mint leaves, optional, I just added them for pics, but we don’t usually add them

Instructions
Cut a large, round slice of watermelon about 1 inch thick. This will be your pizza base.
Pat the surface gently with a paper towel to remove excess moisture so the yogurt spreads easily.
In a small bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.

Spread a generous layer of the honey-yogurt sauce over the watermelon slice.

Arrange raspberries, blackberries, diced yellow kiwi, and blueberries evenly across the top.

Add fresh mint leaves or edible flowers for a decorative touch if desired.

Slice into wedges like a pizza and serve immediately.

Notes
- If your watermelon is extra juicy, definitely pat it dry or things will slide around
- Don’t overthink the toppings, it always turns out cute
- This is best eaten right after making it, not great for storing
Why It’s Actually a Great Snack
This watermelon pizza is one of those things that feels like a treat but is really just simple, whole ingredients.
- Watermelon is super hydrating, especially in the heat
- Greek yogurt adds a little protein so it’s not just straight sugar
- Berries bring fiber and a bit more staying power
It’s light, but it doesn’t leave you immediately looking for something else.

You can easily switch this up based on what you have:

Let kids decorate their own slices for birthday parties or summer playdates. It turns snack time into an activity, what we love to do 🙂
