Where to Find Free Baby Samples in 2024
Here are some of my favorite free baby samples that I got with each pregnancy! These baby freebies are so easy to get and help a new mom prepare for their little one’s arrival.
I’m sure you’ve heard of all the free baby products you can get. After I became pregnant with my first, I searched for hours on end to find all the free baby items I could get my hands on.
From all that searching, I found many lists with broken links and false information. So, I decided to create my own free baby boxes article!
I try to keep this list as updated as possible with baby freebies that actually work.
*Now lots of free stuff you will find does require you to pay shipping, which I will always inform you of the price. While not totally free, most of these are still a lot cheaper paying for the shipping than buying somewhere online.*

Are There Any Real FREE Baby Items?
Short answer, yes, in some of the cases, you can really get free baby stuff when you are pregnant.
However, lots of them require some work and will depend on certain factors. Some things to consider when looking for baby freebies:
- Shipping: Some things do require shipping fees. The ones I have listed down below do have some shipping included on lots of them. However, for those items with shipping, I think the cost is low considering what you receive. I think the shipping is worth it!
- Reward Programs: Some of these are reward programs, which the free samples and whatnot change on a regular basis. It requires you give your email address and sometimes physical address. If you are comfortable with that, then you can truly get some free baby items from them; I certainly did!
- Baby Registries: Most of the free baby boxes require you make a baby registry with each store. While that is time consuming, it is worth it for the free samples in the boxes. Plus, I think it is fun to set them up and look at all the baby stuff.

Baby Boxes with Registries
In order to get these baby registry welcome boxes, you will need to first create a baby registry with each store.
Baby List +shipping
Baby List is one of the baby registries that will give you a free baby box! I think it is another great registry to have that links to a whole bunch of websites to get all the baby things you will need.
To get your Welcome Box from Baby List, you need to complete the following:
- Set up your registry
- Add a minimum of 3 items to your registry from their website
- Add at least 3 items from another website
- Have someone order $30 worth of items on your registry
The shipping fee with this box is $9. But, I still felt with like it is worth it with all the free baby bottles, milk storage bags, free diapers, and other free samples to enjoy.
There were a couple of free samples of diapers that I loved! Really helps me decide what diapers work best for my young children.

Amazon is a super easy registry to use and everyone loves buying from Amazon. Plus, there are tons of rewards, including a pretty big free welcome box!
Here are the rules to get your baby items for free:
- Create a registry
- Complete the registry checklist, which basically means you add things from each section of the list, super easy to do
- Order something off your registry that is at least $10 (you or someone else)
Along with the free baby box, you also get a 15% off completion discount of everything that was not bought from your registry.
Another reason why I love the Amazon registry is that they do a program called Baby Bucks.
When things bought off your registry equals $500, you get 20% off diapers for an entire year, up to a certain amount. This was life changing for me as a new mom!

I found Noobie, which was changed to Hey Milestone and it is one of my favorite sample box for baby stuff by mail. Shipping costs around $13 and is totally worth it, trust me.

To get your free Target baby bag, just create your own Target registry. Once you do, then just head to any store and ask for a free baby bag from Customer Service.
That’s it!
My baby bag came with a baby bottle, some breast milk storage bags, and some diaper samples, along with some coupons.

You can also get a free Walmart baby box. Shipping was around $5, don’t know if that has changed. Just like Hey Milestone, there are different boxes that offer free samples. You can even choose if it will be a boy or a girl for your box.
All you have to do is make your Walmart baby registry and then you can claim your free box, and that’s it!

Where to Get Cheap Baby Stuff
In the event that you do have to buy some things, or you simply want to buy something cute for your baby, there are even more offers out there to make it as cheap as possible.
Mercari
Mercari is a resell app where I have found tons of great baby items. Once I even got a brand new Boba Wrap for only $10!
The other day, I got a Cozy Bump, Lillebaby Airflow Carrier, and Pregnancy Pillow for free! It’s one of my favorite places to get free baby items.
You can also sell your baby items that you don’t use anymore on the app as well. That is where I sold and bought each new size of clothes. I did a bundle and they worked out great!

Huggies Rewards
If you buy Huggies, you might as well get Huggies Rewards. You get rewarded and can get free baby products.
It is a points system. You get points for signing up, reading their articles, referring friends, and so much more! You also can scan your receipts (or receipts from gifts) that have Huggies products and get even more points!
Pampers Rewards
Pampers Rewards is the same thing as Huggies but for Pampers! You earn points that can be used for a variety of things! With Pampers, you scan a code from the inside of your diaper box or wipes.
This means, all those diapers and wipes you get from your baby shower can also earn you more freebies!
Facebook Marketplace
Another great resource for new mothers is Facebook Marketplace. It is where I’ve gotten anything from car seats for my new baby to cribs, toddler beds, baby carriers, baby wipes, and so much more.
Many things are even free. I see baby diapers and wipes all the time for free along with baby clothes. It’s a great place to have family members check for you in their area too!
